- An established organization within the legal and financial services sectors USA based company is seeking a dedicated Junior Underwriter to join their remote team. Duties
- Evaluate potential client cases for funding
- Assess the likelihood of winning cases and estimate settlement amounts
- Collaborate with sales and medical teams to determine case strength
- Review medical records and legal documents related to personal injury cases
- Provide educated estimates on case worths based on various factors
Requirements
- Matric
- Approximately 3 years of underwriting experience
- Experience in evaluating personal injury cases
- Ability to review medical records accurately
- Skills in negotiating settlements in personal injury cases
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking
- Familiarity with the following:
- Legal and financial industry standards
- Case evaluation processes
