This is a support role for someone who wants to build a career in property administration. You'll work closely with the Group Property Manager, Finance, and third-party managing agents, handling tenant communication, rental collections, and lease administration across the portfolio.

Core Criteria

• Grade 12 or equivalent • Certificate or diploma in administration, bookkeeping, property administration, or finance advantageous • 1 to 2 years' experience in administration, debtors, collections, property administration, or customer service • Basic understanding of rental accounts, statements, and payment follow-up processes • Computer literate, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong follow-up ability and persistence in closing out administrative matters • Comfortable escalating sensitive matters appropriately • Good organisational and time-management skills • Sound judgement and confidentiality when handling tenant and financial information • Able to work independently while knowing when to escalate Core Responsibilities:

• Act as first point of contact for tenants on rental statements, payment reminders, proof of payment requests, and basic lease queries • Log tenant queries and escalate matters requiring management, maintenance, finance, or legal input • Monitor rental payments against monthly schedules and flag unpaid or short-paid accounts • Send payment reminders and arrears notices, and follow up on overdue rentals • Update arrears tracking schedules with follow-up dates, payment arrangements, and escalation status • Maintain the central lease register, including lease dates, escalation dates, and renewal status • Track upcoming lease expiries and remind the Group Property Manager of required actions • File signed leases, amendments, and correspondence correctly • Prepare basic collections and tenant administration reports • Assist Finance with reconciliations by providing payment records and follow-up notes On Offer:

  • Salary: R18,000 to R25,000, dependent on experience
