  • Our well-established client in the Wealth Management & Financial Services sector is looking for a Junior System Support Consultant to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

  • A relevant completed Bachelor's Degree is essential i.e:
  • Financial Planning.
  • Investment Management.
  • Economics and Risk Management
  • Investment / Financial Analysis.
  • Bilingual - Afrikaans and English
  • Must be able to serve clients in Afrikaans.
  • Recent graduates and candidates with limited working experience are encouraged to apply.
  • A genuine interest in the Wealth Management and Investment industry is essential.
  • Comfortable working with calculations, financial information and systems.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn complex financial planning and investment concepts.

Role Overview

  • The successful candidate will provide functional and system support to Financial Advisers using a specialist Wealth Management platform.
  • You will receive exposure to the practical application of financial planning, investments, retirement products, portfolio information, and wealth management principles while learning how these concepts are applied within the system.
  • The position would suit a graduate who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems and numbers, and assisting clients, but who still wants to remain closely involved in the financial services industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic and email support to Financial Advisers using the Wealth Management platform.
  • Assist users with system-related queries and functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to financial planning information and calculations.
  • Assist with investment, portfolio and financial planning-related system queries.
  • Interpret financial information and assist users in understanding system outputs.
  • Troubleshoot software-related issues and escalate technical matters where required.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's Wealth Management software.
  • Build knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products and financial markets.
  • Assist Financial Advisers in navigating and using the system effectively.
  • Deliver professional, accurate and client-focused support.
  • Maintain accurate records of queries and resolutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with Financial Advisers and other Wealth Management professionals.
  • Ensure queries are resolved efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.
