- Our well-established client in the Wealth Management & Financial Services sector is looking for a Junior System Support Consultant to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant completed Bachelor's Degree is essential i.e:
- Financial Planning.
- Investment Management.
- Economics and Risk Management
- Investment / Financial Analysis.
- Bilingual - Afrikaans and English
- Must be able to serve clients in Afrikaans.
- Recent graduates and candidates with limited working experience are encouraged to apply.
- A genuine interest in the Wealth Management and Investment industry is essential.
- Comfortable working with calculations, financial information and systems.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn complex financial planning and investment concepts.
Role Overview
- The successful candidate will provide functional and system support to Financial Advisers using a specialist Wealth Management platform.
- You will receive exposure to the practical application of financial planning, investments, retirement products, portfolio information, and wealth management principles while learning how these concepts are applied within the system.
- The position would suit a graduate who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems and numbers, and assisting clients, but who still wants to remain closely involved in the financial services industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic and email support to Financial Advisers using the Wealth Management platform.
- Assist users with system-related queries and functionality.
- Investigate and resolve queries relating to financial planning information and calculations.
- Assist with investment, portfolio and financial planning-related system queries.
- Interpret financial information and assist users in understanding system outputs.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and escalate technical matters where required.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's Wealth Management software.
- Build knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products and financial markets.
- Assist Financial Advisers in navigating and using the system effectively.
- Deliver professional, accurate and client-focused support.
- Maintain accurate records of queries and resolutions.
- Build strong working relationships with Financial Advisers and other Wealth Management professionals.
- Ensure queries are resolved efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.
