Experience: Entry-level / Previous stock-control experience advantageous
We are looking for a young, energetic and reliable Junior Stock Controller to join our team.
The ideal candidate must be good with numbers, comfortable using Microsoft Excel and have a strong attention to detail. You will be working with stock figures, capturing information, checking quantities and assisting with daily stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain accurate stock records.
- Check incoming and outgoing stock.
- Assist with daily stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Work with Excel to maintain stock reports and records.
- Assist with orders, deliveries and general stock administration.
- Communicate with suppliers, drivers and staff when required.
- Assist with general operational duties.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Good mathematical and numerical ability.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Computer literate.
- Must be accurate and have good attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, honest and willing to learn.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to drive is essential.
- Previous stock-control, warehouse or FMCG experience will be an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Preferably between 18 and 30 years old.
