My client based in Tygerfalls, Bellville is currently looking for a Junior Software Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

IT / FINANCE

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain components of the CRM platform and client-facing portals.
Develop and support components of Android and Apple client applications.
Contribute to the development of software in line with the future architecture and technology roadmap.
Assist with improving and enhancing the existing software architecture.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Testers and the external software development partner.
Follow established coding standards, development practices and software development methodologies.
Identify opportunities to improve coding practices, processes and application functionality.
Provide technical support and a customer-focused service to CRM users, including Advisers and internal business stakeholders.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through development, testing and implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant tertiary Bachelor's degree, such as:
BSc in Computer Science
BSc in Software Engineering
Information Technology or a related qualification.
2-3 years' software development experience.
Practical experience with C# development.
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks, preferably Angular, Underscore or KnockoutJS.
Experience working with SQL Server.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and development processes.
Experience within the financial services industry would be advantageous.
PHP knowledge would be beneficial.
Experience with CRM systems, client-facing portals and/or mobile application development would be advantageous.
Experience with Android and Apple application development would be beneficial.
Agile/Scrum experience would be advantageous.
Flutter experience would be beneficial.
