Where You'll Make an Impact: • Write, debug, and optimize code focused on performance, maintainability, scalability, and security. • Troubleshoot complex software issues and implement robust solutions. • Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality. • Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices. • Contribute to design discussions, sprint planning, and estimation sessions. • Support continuous learning through mentorship, coding practice, and staying updated on emerging technologies. • Implement and review security controls throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring data security and compliance with regulations such as POPIA and GDPR. • Identify, report, and remediate potential security vulnerabilities. • Assist with performance tuning, database optimization, and automated testing to improve application reliability.
Requirements: • A BSc in Computer Science or Information Systems. • No prior experience required, but 1 to 3 years of experience is considered advantageous. • Knowledge of basic programming languages like C#. • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming. • Familiarity with C#, .Net, Object-Oriented Programming, Git.
Nice to Have: • Experience with secure coding standards and security incident management.
