- As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with Regional Property Managers and service providers to ensure projects are planned, costed, managed, and delivered efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction and maintenance projects
- Compiling Bills of Quantities BOQs
- Developing scopes of work and tender documentation
- Managing tender administration processes
- Evaluating quotations and contractor submissions
- Assisting with contractor appointment processes
- Tracking project costs and preparing project reports
- Assisting with maintenance planning and property-related initiatives
- Compiling final accounts and project close-out documentation
- Building strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Minimum Requirements
- BSc Quantity Surveying 4-year degree or Honours Degree
- 1-2 years' relevant quantity surveying experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using WinQS and DimensionX
Advantageous Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of building and construction practices
- Working knowledge of SANS 10400 regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel when required
