Are you a Quantity Surveyor with 2 – 4 years' consulting experience looking to take the next step in your career? The successful candidate will support the delivery of residential, commercial and civil projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with senior surveyors and project teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
- Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and letting of packages
- Value works and prepare interim payment applications and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and report on budget performance
- Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders
- Maintain accurate contract records and correspondence
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc/BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 2-4 years' experience in a consulting QS environment
- Knowledge of JBCC contracts
- Experience with cost estimating, tender documentation, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS measurement software
- PrQS registration or progress towards registration is advantageous
Package & Remuneration
R300 000 CTC - R420 000 CTC (Negotiable depending on experience)
