A well-established construction company is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team within the contracting environment .
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity designed for a highly motivated graduate fresh out of varsity, or a junior professional with a maximum of 1 to 2 years of experience . Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist senior professionals with overall project administration and commercial management.
- Take off quantities accurately from construction drawings and plans.
- Assist with the compilation and management of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) .
- Measure, capture, and track on-site quantities for progress claims and valuations.
- Assist in estimating, cost calculations, and preparing monthly cost reports.
- Liaise with sub-contractors, site managers, and suppliers regarding material allocations and measurements.
- Conduct site inspections to verify completed work against project targets.
- Location: Kempton Park Head office - sites in Johannesburg and Pretoria

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completed BSc or BTech degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years max experience (graduates fresh out of varsity are highly encouraged to apply).
- Sector: A keen interest in or prior basic exposure to the contracting/construction environment .
- Software: Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; knowledge of industry software like WinQS or Candy (CCS) is a distinct advantage.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (required for site travel).
- Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity, excellent work ethic, and clear communication skills.
