An established Quantity Surveying and construction organisation is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Vanderbijlpark. This is a great opportunity for a junior QS who wants practical exposure across building and civil projects, with the opportunity to work on projects across Gauteng and the Northern Free State. Duties & Responsibilities
- BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying
- 0–1 years' experience
- Basic WinQS knowledge
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Exposure to measuring programmes
- Ability to work from construction plans
- Own vehicle and valid driver's licence – NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Willing and able to travel extensively
- Strong integrity and work ethic – NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Afrikaans and/or English speaking
- Assist with quantity surveying and project administration
- Work from construction drawings and plans
- Measure and capture quantities
- Assist with cost calculations and project documentation
- Use WinQS and measuring programmes
- Support senior QS professionals on site and in the office
- Travel to project sites as required
