Own the vision, backlog, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital products within a fintech environment.
Act as the bridge between business and engineering, translating customer and business needs into clear requirements, prioritising delivery, driving AI-enabled innovation, and ensuring high-quality releases.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and support delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Use AI tools to improve product workflows and build rapid prototypes.
- Drive testing, UAT, defect management, and release readiness.
- Monitor product performance through data, analytics, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, commercial, compliance, and technology teams.
- Produce and maintain clear product documentation.
- Support product demonstrations, customer onboarding, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, governance, and data privacy requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Product Delivery.
- Proven backlog ownership and Agile delivery experience.
- Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with acceptance testing, release management, and defect triage.
- Hands-on use of AI tools and prototyping platforms.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience in regulated industries such as fintech, financial services, or similar is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Degree in Commerce, Information Systems, Business Analysis, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Product Owner, Scrum, or Business Analysis certification advantageous.
- SQL knowledge and AI prototyping experience beneficial.
