- Product Management & Development: Identify new product opportunities, create quarterly roadmaps, write functional requirement documents, and manage product launches or feature updates.
- Financial & Performance Management: Track actual sales versus budgets, prepare sales forecasts, review product costs, and monitor profitability and supplier rebates.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build relationships with vendors, negotiate pricing and purchasing terms, manage contracts, and resolve supplier issues.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct monthly research on competitors, analyse market positioning, and perform SWOT analyses.
- Pricing & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate price lists and models, monitor stock levels and aged inventory, and coordinate purchasing requirements.
- Sales Enablement & Marketing: Support the sales team with technical expertise, train internal and external channels, and collaborate on marketing materials.
- Administration & Reporting: Submit regular performance reports and keep product and pricing systems (such as SAP and Porta) updated
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of product management experience within the ICT/ telecommunications sector.
- Education: A Degree or Diploma in Product Management or Marketing Management would be advantageous.
- Must have ICT product experience - advantageous skills: Experience with Unified Threat Management (UTM), firewalls, LAN/WAN networking, and call recording solutions.
- Key Competencies: Strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, negotiation abilities, and excellent presentation and reporting skills.
