The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in mechanical draughting or design , with an interest in developing their career within the piping and valves industry. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and modification of technical drawings and designs, while gaining further exposure to piping, valves and related engineering components. Detail: Key Responsibilities Prepare and modify 2D and/or 3D engineering drawings. Assist with piping and valve design and detailing. Interpret engineering drawings, sketches and technical specifications. Prepare drawings for manufacturing and production purposes. Update and revise existing drawings as required. Assist with maintaining accurate technical documentation. Work closely with engineers and senior technical staff. Ensure drawings are accurate and completed within required deadlines. Assist with the development and detailing of piping, valves and related mechanical components. Minimum Requirements National Diploma, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Draughting or a related field. 1–2 years' experience in mechanical draughting or design. Experience with SolidWorks Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good computer literacy. Good communication and organisational skills. Advantageous Experience Exposure to piping or valve design. Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD. Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and processes. Exposure to pumps, valves, piping systems or mechanical components. show more...
