- This opportunity would suit someone with some merchandising experience who is looking to develop their skills within a hands-on clothing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the merchandising process from development through to production.
- Assist with product specifications, costing and pricing.
- Coordinate and follow up on samples and approvals.
- Liaise with suppliers, factories and internal teams.
- Track production timelines and outstanding requirements.
- Maintain accurate product and merchandising information.
- Assist with client requirements and queries.
- Support quality checks and ensure products meet specifications.
- Assist with fashion and trend research.
- Provide general support to the merchandising team.
Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience in fashion merchandising, clothing manufacturing or a related environment.
- Relevant Fashion/Merchandising qualification advantageous.
- Understanding of the product development process.
- Good Excel and computer skills.
- Strong administration and organisational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for fashion and clothing.
- Previous retail or manufacturing exposure advantageous.
