A leading organisation in the materials handling industry is looking for a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to join their technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Mechatronics Engineer looking to develop their technical skills while gaining exposure to customer requirements, engineering solutions and project coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with analysing customer requirements and identifying suitable technical solutions.
Provide technical support to customers and the internal sales team.
Assist with the design, configuration and testing of materials-handling systems.
Work with engineering and R&D teams on product development and technical improvements.
Assist with preparing technical specifications, proposals, drawings and documentation.
Support project planning, coordination and implementation.
Help identify opportunities to improve existing products and applications.
Assist with product demonstrations and customer training.
Ensure proposed solutions meet technical and operational requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering.
0–2 years' relevant experience, including graduate or internship experience.
A strong interest in applications engineering, technical problem-solving and customer-focused engineering solutions.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, robotics or industrial automation will be beneficial but is not essential.
Willingness to learn and develop within a technical engineering environment
Package & Remuneration
R280 000 CTC - R360 000 CTC (Negotiable depending on experience)
