Detail: Scope of works: Plan, design, audit, cost, specify, tender and project management of mechanical (HVAC, Fire & Wet Services) systems Design of Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) Systems Building Management Systems Summary of job description: Conceptual Design & Viability Studies - Conceptual designs, Concept comparisons, Cost estimates Detail Design - Heat load calculations, Design development, Outline specifications Tender & Procurement - Detailed specifications, Tender documentation, Bill of quantities Construction / Project Coordination - Construction documentation, Ongoing estimates - Payment valuations, Quality assurance inspections, Quality control documentation Commissioning verification Assist with Project Close-out - Conclude final account, Review hand-over documentation, Works and final completion defects list Areas of exposure: Commercial Offices Data centres Hotel, leisure and convention centres Education and transport facilities Healthcare, laboratories Retail, warehouses, industrial QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum BSc Eng (Mech) or B Eng (Mech) or BTech (Mech) Registered as Candidate with ECSA preferred 0-3+ years consulting engineering experience in building services (HVAC systems) Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit essential Own transport and valid driver's license Must be medically fit to work on construction sites Must be willing to travel to construction sites as may be required Package & Remuneration Market related - negotiable depending on qualifications, experience, and ECSA registration status.
