Junior Mechanical Engineer

A well-established engineering organisation based in Pretoria is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer who is eager to learn, develop technically, and build a long-term career within a dynamic engineering environment. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or junior engineer looking to gain valuable exposure to mechanical design, project execution, and product development. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and MS Project)
- Exposure to SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong interest in mechanical design and engineering projects
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical design and engineering activities
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on a variety of projects
- Contribute to product development and manufacturing initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- Recent graduate or junior engineer with limited experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Able to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
