- Hold structured one-on-one sessions with a portfolio of entrepreneurs, working through the commercial and developmental challenges facing their businesses.
- Analyse businesses across finance, strategy, sales, marketing, operations and people to identify constraints, opportunities and underlying commercial issues.
- Help entrepreneurs interpret financial and operational information and translate it into better business decisions.
- Apply structured problem-solving to complex and sometimes ambiguous entrepreneurial challenges.
- Challenge assumptions, test logic and help entrepreneurs evaluate the trade-offs behind important business decisions.
- Work with entrepreneurs to strengthen their strategies, commercial models, sales approaches, marketing activities, operational systems and people practices.
- Help entrepreneurs move from identifying a problem to implementing practical solutions - while ensuring that they develop the capability to make better decisions independently.
- Facilitate business simulations, workshops and group learning interventions using Raizcorp's programmes and methodology.
- Collaborate with other Guides, specialists and programme teams to support each entrepreneur's development journey.

What you'll need
- Meaningful experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, commercial advisory, corporate strategy or a closely related environment.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
- Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to understand how strategy, finance, sales, marketing, operations and people interact.
- Strong financial literacy and confidence interpreting business performance, financial statements and commercial drivers.
- Exposure to different businesses, sectors, business models or commercial challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and practically.
- The confidence to challenge entrepreneurs while remaining constructive, respectful and non-judgemental.
- High emotional intelligence and genuine curiosity about people and entrepreneurship.
- An organised, disciplined and proactive working style.
- Confidence using technology and business systems, including Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office.
- A commerce, business, finance, economics, engineering or similarly relevant tertiary qualification.
- An MBA or other postgraduate business qualification will be an advantage.
- A valid driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- Entrepreneurial experience, including having built, operated or been closely involved in a business, will be a significant advantage.
