This type of opportunity can suit a newly qualified CA(SA) who is looking to gain exposure to investment analysis, financial modelling and broader investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial and investment analysis to support investment-related decisions.
- Analyze financial statements, company performance and relevant financial information.
- Assist with financial modelling, valuations and investment analysis.
- Research investment opportunities, industries and market trends.
- Prepare reports, presentations and analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze investment performance and financial results.
- Support due diligence and other investment-related projects.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Newly qualified CA(SA).
- Relevant articles experience, preferably with exposure to financial services, investments, valuations, transaction advisory or related areas.
- Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge.
- Experience with financial modelling and Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Genuine interest in investments and financial markets.
