- Matric, or related qualification
- 13 years' relevant work experience
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with numbers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised with good follow-up skills
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and willing to learn
- An interest in imports, logistics, purchasing or data analysis
- Experience with Pastel/Sage, ERP systems, imports, logistics, stock control, Power BI or advanced Excel will be beneficial, but is not essential
DUTIES
• Assist with overseas purchase orders and supplier communication • Track international shipments and expected arrival dates • Maintain import and purchasing records • Check supplier invoices, packing lists and related documentation • Assist with stock and purchasing administration • Prepare sales, stock and product reports • Analyse sales and inventory data using Excel • Identify slow-moving stock, low-stock items and sales trends • Assist management with reporting and data analysis • Maintain accurate product, supplier and customer information Salary: negotiable dependent on experience
