Detail: Purpose of the Position As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering technical solutions to clients by implementing software systems, ensuring quality, and providing technical consultation. This dynamic position also involves troubleshooting, documentation, and client collaboration to meet project goals and service level agreements. The role requires adaptability and a willingness to learn specific tools and technologies to enhance project outcomes. Daily Responsibilities Implementation Implement software solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Conduct quality assurance checks on implemented solutions. Provide technical consultation to project teams and clients. Develop and maintain documentation for technical solutions and implementation processes. Facilitate system upgrades and ensure smooth transitions. Support and Troubleshooting Assist with technical support as needed during implementations. Research and resolve client technical issues promptly. Utilize SQL for data reporting and analysis to support client needs. Teaming and Communication Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve project objectives. Mentor and train team members on best practices and technical knowledge. Deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders. Participate in meetings and provide feedback on tasks and workflows. Competencies Required A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Experience with Aderant Expert software in areas such as patching, customizations, troubleshooting, and administration is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn these technologies. 2+ years of experience troubleshooting technical issues on Microsoft Windows systems, including: Desktop and server support Reviewing Event Viewer logs for diagnostics Resolving Microsoft Office Suite-related issues Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server: Writing and reviewing TSQL queries and stored procedures Setting up SQL Server Agent jobs Performing basic database administration tasks (backup, restore, managing transaction logs) Experience with web server technologies (e.g., IIS) and reviewing HTTP/HTTPS web requests Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and handling complex systems CompTIA A+ and N+ Vetting Clear credit and criminal record Relevant Certifications (Preferred but not required) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Fundamentals Microsoft Certified: SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) Associate ITIL Foundation Certification (for understanding service management) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – if familiar with virtualisation Microsoft Certified: PowerShell Automation and Scripting Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certifications Certifications in Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Python Developer) Relevant Aderant certifications or willingness to achieve them as part of the role Preferred (Optional) Skills Familiarity with Aderant Expert (if not experienced, willingness to train is essential) Experience with virtualisation software (e.g., VMWare, VirtualBox) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA, JavaScript) Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation Understanding of email server systems (e.g., Exchange Online, SMTP Servers) Competencies Required Analytical and Critical Thinking Ability: Ability to gather sufficient data to understand a problem, to look at a situation from different perspectives, to be able to break a problem into smaller components, and to look for underlying causes or thinks through the consequences of different courses of action. Relationship- and Alliance Building Skills/ Social Intelligence: Ability to skilfully use interpersonal- and networking skills in order to develop a sound relationship/alliance and cooperate with key stakeholders inside/ outside the organisation and maintain such a relationship over time towards the achievement of objectives. Navigating complex social and political situations effectively Verbal, Non- Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact with individual/ group, using appropriate verbal-, non-verbal- or written communication on the required level, and sending out/ receiving a clear message in the intended way.
