An established air conditioning and refrigeration business based in the South of Durban is looking for a motivated and technically inclined Junior HVAC Technician to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills, gain hands-on industry experience and grow within the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
Assist with refrigeration repairs and maintenance.
Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment faults.
Assist senior technicians with fault-finding and troubleshooting.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Ensure all work is completed safely and according to required standards.
Maintain tools, equipment and a clean working environment.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric / Grade 12.
Basic knowledge or exposure to air conditioning and refrigeration.
HVAC / Refrigeration qualification or technical training will be advantageous.
Previous hands-on experience in an assistant or junior technician capacity will be beneficial.
Basic understanding of tools, electrical systems and mechanical components.
Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
Willingness to work on-site and travel to customer locations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
