We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality creative artwork and print-ready material across both digital and traditional media. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all creative work is aligned with our brand standards, meets production requirements and is delivered within agreed deadlines.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, technically minded and eager to learn . We are looking for a candidate who is willing to develop their skills, embrace new technologies and creative techniques, and keep up with evolving marketing and design trends.
A general understanding of video editing and digital content creation is also required, as modern marketing increasingly combines static and motion-based content.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design marketing collateral for both print and digital platforms.
- Create artwork for brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, advertisements and promotional material.
- Design content for websites, email campaigns and social media platforms.
- Prepare print-ready artwork according to commercial printing specifications.
- Resize and adapt artwork for various digital and print formats.
- Perform image editing, retouching and colour correction.
- Assist with basic video editing and digital marketing content creation.
- Prepare graphics, titles and visual assets for video productions.
- Ensure all creative work adheres to the company's brand identity and design standards.
- Liaise with printers, suppliers and internal departments regarding artwork requirements.
- Organise and maintain digital artwork libraries and project files.
- Proofread and quality-check artwork before production.
- Assist senior designers with larger branding and marketing projects.
- Continuously develop design and technical skills and learn new software and production processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- National Diploma or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia Design, Desktop Publishing or an equivalent recognised qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.
Required Software Skills- Proficiency in the following is required
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel – basic level
Advantageous Skills- Experience or knowledge of the following will be advantageous:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Lightroom
- Figma
- Canva – professional use
- Basic HTML and CSS
- AI-assisted creative tools and workflows
