Junior Full Stack Developer

Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Magento, PHP, MySQL, and modern front-end technologies in our development team. Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, customize, and maintain our high-quality e-commerce website while working on complex web projects and integrations.
• Maintain our high-quality e-commerce website while working on complex web projects and integration.
• Contribute to the full eCommerce life cycle, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and build innovative solutions that enhance user experience and business performance.
• Help out with the upgrade of the website
• Do research with regards to the modules

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• Relevant Information Technology qualification
• 1 - 3 years experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Must have knowledge with developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites
• Hands on experience with HTML5 & CSS
• Hands on experience with native JavaScript > ES6
• Hands on experience with Node.JS
• Hands on experience creating RESTful APIs and WebSockets
• Hands on experience with native PHP and MySQL
• Good working knowledge of web server infrastructure
• Competent in managing Unix / Linux based servers via CLI, particularly services like Firewalls, MySQL Server, Apache / Nginx, PM2 and more
• Working knowledge of JQuery
• Good eye for UX/UI, design & best practice consideration for UX
• Experience with the complete eCommerce Lifecycle Development Cycle
• Knowledge and experience using some form of version control system

Advantageous Skills

• In addition to the  frontend and backend requirements, working knowledge of and experience with coding in other languages or frameworks
• Experience working with or creating enterprise grade software (not self-assessed)
• Experience with GraphQL, experience with Magento 2 Commerce / Commerce Cloud
