Job Description
- Conduct basic fire risk assessments at a large corporate office site.
- Help design fire detection systems using standard engineering software tools.
- Check that all designs follow national building regulations very closely.
- Write clear technical reports for engineering project approvals and sign-offs.
- Do regular site inspections to check proper system installations and safety.
- Work smoothly with building teams to fit safety systems into plans.
- Keep your knowledge up to date with simple fire safety codes.
What You Need to Apply
- A relevant Engineering Degree (such as Mechanical Engineering) is required.
- At least one year of experience working in fire protection engineering.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit design software is highly beneficial.
- Registration as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle your daily project tasks well.
- Clear communication skills for writing reports and talking with on-site teams.
- A good positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being a team player.
