We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Financial Assistant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained some practical accounting experience and is looking to develop a long-term career in finance within a growing company.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and allocate customer receipts accurately and timeously.
- Assist with debtor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Process supplier invoices, statements and payments in line with company procedures.
- Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations.
- Assist with credit applications and account opening documentation.
- Monitor customer credit limits where required.
- Maintain accurate filing and financial records.
- Assist with audit requests and financial record keeping.
- Respond professionally to customer and supplier queries.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum requirement of Grade 12 (matric) with Mathematics and / or Accounting.
- Relevant accounting, finance or bookkeeping qualification will be advantageous.
- Some practical experience in a finance, accounts, debtors or creditors role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience using Sage Intacct, or similar ERP/accounting software will be advantageous.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
