We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent matriculant/school leaver who is interested in starting a career in finance and accounting.
No prior work experience is required, but a strong willingness to learn and grow within a finance environment is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Capturing and processing invoices
- Assisting with accounts receivable and payable
- Performing basic reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer)
- Filing and maintaining financial records
- Data capturing and updating spreadsheets
- Assisting senior finance staff with administrative tasks
- Following up on outstanding payments when required
- Creditors
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric (with Mathematics and/or Accounting preferred)
- Computer literate advantageous (especially MS Excel and MS Word )
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
