Junior Finance Assistant

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, detail-oriented and passionate about finance, with the confidence to work with multiple stores and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, accountability and a strong commitment to accurate financial processing and reconciliations. Duties will include, but may not be limited to: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Process invoices, payments and financial transactions accurately and timeously. Perform store petty cash reconciliations, ensuring supporting documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with company policies. Reconcile store petty cash balances and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Review and verify store expense claims, receipts and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Perform bank and other financial reconciliations as required. Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes. Support financial reporting, data capturing and general finance administration. Liaise with stores, internal departments and external suppliers when required. Ensure financial processes are completed in line with company policies and internal controls. Performing routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the accountant
