- PSG is recruiting for an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Junior Finance Analyst. This role involves managing data and providing insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, proficient in Excel, and able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage and manipulate large datasets using advanced Excel functions and tools
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial reports and analyses
- Update the cashbook daily to reflect accurate financial transactions
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes
- Implement improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency
- Perform regular checks on financial controls to maintain compliance and accuracy
- Assist with queries until resolution and manage expectations where necessary
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate in Finance or IT
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables and data analysis tools.
Recommended requirements
- Experience in either QlikView, QlikSense or Power BI
- Financial services experience
