An established company within the transport and logistics industry is looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially minded Junior Estimator – Abnormal Loads to join its Durban team.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage incoming customer enquiries and quotation requests. - Liaise with clients to establish load specifications, collection and delivery points, routes and transport requirements.
Minimum Requirements: - Matric / Grade 12. - 2–5 years' experience in sales, estimating or a related role. - Experience within transport, logistics, abnormal loads or heavy haulage would be highly advantageous. - Strong numerical ability and experience preparing quotations and costings. - Good understanding of transport operations, vehicle types and associated costs would be advantageous. - Knowledge of ERP systems. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. - Excellent attention to detail, planning and organisational skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Customer-focused, proactive and able to work independently. - Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet deadlines.
