This incumbent will design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems/structures and processing lines in order to optimise production and output and will be involved with different facets of projects. Detail: Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Industrial / Mechatronic Engineering is essential Min of 1-5 years' experience in optimizing manufacturing processes Project Management experience Responsibilities: Identifies resources that will be needed as per the task requirements of the project scope of work. Implements timescales, budget and manages resources. Liaises with the Plant Manager, Technical Manager and General Manager for detailed designs. Outlines how each step of the project will be achieved. Ensures that each step progresses as per the schedule, including timing, the budgetary factors and the right quality standards. Evaluates financial impact and calculates payback of project. Mapping of product flow at the various processing operations. Analyses work load balance in order to minimize costs Conducts feasibility studies for the proposed projects and presents to management Performs technical/scientific tasks under management Assists Maintenance with technical and mechanical expertise Reports internally on management areas: water balance, boiler efficiencies, power efficiencies, product efficiencies.
