About the Opportunity

As a Junior Electrical / Software Engineer Intern, you will become an integral part of the Project Development and Asset Management teams, supporting the development and execution of renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects. You'll gain invaluable exposure to solar, gas, biogas, CHP, and other clean energy technologies while building a strong foundation for a successful engineering career.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support project development activities for renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects.

• Assist with proposals, tender submissions, and costing estimates.

• Conduct site assessments and gather technical project information.

• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Support quality inspections of solar PV and other energy technology installations.

• Perform PV simulation studies and technical analyses.

• Assist with energy measurements, audits, and report writing.

• Develop and implement software applications to monitor renewable energy installations and support business processes.

• Analyse operational and energy performance data.

• Contribute to technology innovation, engineering processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BSc (Eng) / BEng in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

• Experience developing applications for data access, management, and reporting.

• Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.

• Exposure to the energy sector would be advantageous.

• Linux operating system experience would be beneficial.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Own vehicle and valid driver's licence.
