Client based in Pretoria
We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer with a strong foundation in Java, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, and AI/Generative AI to join our development team and contribute to scalable enterprise applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript .
Develop and consume REST APIs and microservices .
Assist with integrating AI/Generative AI and LLM solutions .
Deploy and support applications on Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) .
Work with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm .
Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .
Troubleshoot application issues and assist with production support.
Participate in code reviews, testing, Agile ceremonies, and technical discussions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
3 years software development experience .
Good knowledge of Java / Spring Boot .
Working knowledge of Angular / TypeScript .
Practical exposure to Microsoft Azure .
Working knowledge of Kubernetes / AKS .
Understanding of Docker and Helm .
Exposure to Azure DevOps and CI/CD .
Understanding of REST APIs and microservices .
Exposure to AI / Generative AI / LLMs .
Basic understanding of RAG, embeddings and/or vector databases .
Basic SQL/database knowledge.
Git and Agile development experience.
