- A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification NQF Level 06 / National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualifications. Relevant years of experience in systems analysis, software development, and software testing. Database knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL and Spring boot Java framework.
- Desirable knowledge and understanding of two or more of the following programming languages are required: C/C++, Visual Basic, C#, Java, XML, Angular and any BI reporting tool. Computer literate. Ability to think innovatively and adapt to different approaches to systems/applications. Ability to work under pressure. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication. Interpersonal, Planning and organizational skills. Integrity and honesty.
DUTIES
- Analyse and implement new requirements. Develop future application systems. Ensuring quality of delivered solution. Troubleshooting, debugging, maintain and customize existing application systems. Provide technical support. Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance. Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects. Participate in ICT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. Apply the legislative requirement of the directorate on updating the applications as per required guidelines.
