- Data Collection & Management: Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Maintain and update databases and systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and trends.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Collaboration: Partner with the finance team to understand data needs and provide valuable insights. Work with IT and other departments to implement data-driven solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced Degree or Certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in data analysis within the finance industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with financial databases.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Capable of interpreting complex data and presenting it clearly.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Other Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, and high ethical standards.
