Purpose of the Job: To capture all service fees accurately and timeously. To follow up outstanding levy debtors by ensuring timeous payments and resolving queries. The person appointed to this position will report to the Finance Manager: Income Key Performance Areas: •To follow up on outstanding debtors •To capture all service fees accurately and timeously to enable line department to render service to the industry. •To obtain all relevant information from Sage 300, Magic and Hummingbird to resolve client’s queries. •Maintaining contact with clients through telephone and e-mails; to promptly address client’s queries. •To prepare credit notes, debit notes, invoices and refunds and attach relevant documents for review and approval. •To perform any other duties as required. Other Key Attributes: The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Good judgement skills, a confident and decisive approach, good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, problem analysis, analytical skills, and customer relations skills. Commitment to meet deadlines. Extensive credit control and bookkeeping skills up to trial balance are essential. Excellent telephone etiquette to deal with external clients; Computer literacy.
