- RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established medium-sized construction company in Cape Town is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Buyer to join their procurement team.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some procurement or construction buying experience who is looking to develop their career within the construction industry.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Construction or a related field will be advantageous.
- 2–4 years' procurement or buying experience, preferably within the construction or building industry.
- Good understanding of construction materials, suppliers and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good numerical and administrative abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with BuildSmart or similar construction/procurement software will be advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport preferred.
