- Register, assess, and process gap cover claims in line with policy terms and conditions.
- Verify documentation, policy details, and underlying insurer responses.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and service providers regarding claim progress.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and claims administration.
- Identify claim shortfalls, exclusions, and required supporting documents.
- Maintain turnaround times and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Escalate complex claims or irregularities to senior consultants or management.
- Assist with general administration and claims reporting when required.
Qualifications: Certificates/Certification: RE 5, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Matric Skills & Experience: 1-2 years' experience in short-term insurance in claims Strong administrative and communication skills Computer literate (MS Office; experience with claims systems advantageous) Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple cases Assist with general administration and claims reporting when required Apply now if you're ready to take the next step in your claims career and work alongside the Claims Manager in a dynamic insurance environment.
