Job Title: JUNIOR BUYER - FIXED TERM CONTRACT (GERMISTON) Start Date: 2026-08-26 - 2026-09-25 Vacancy Type: Permanent NEL012907 Sectors: Finance & Accounting Location: Gauteng , JHB - Eastern Suburbs Salary: ((total = cost to company), company car and petrol) Brief: Our client, a leader in engineering and project management solutions across the electrical and mechanical sectors, is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team on a 3‑month fixed term contract . This role offers exposure to supply chain operations, procurement processes, and compliance reporting. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Generate monthly reports on BBBEE spend and expired certificates File and maintain supplier certificates, ensuring compliance with BBBEE requirements Update SAP with suppliers' latest BBBEE levels Liaise with suppliers to obtain updated certificates Process and generate purchase orders, ensuring accuracy against quotes Print and distribute purchase orders to suppliers (where not automated) Assist with issuing tenders and monthly premium schedules Ensure approvals are aligned with internal processes Follow up on delivery lead times and communicate updates internally Prepare buyers' expediting reports and reports required by Executive Supply Chain Compile expenditure reports, resolve queries, and process invoices for payment Requirements: Matric National Diploma or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred) Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel functions Effective communication skills for supplier engagement and internal coordination Proactive approach to problem‑solving and compliance management By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTC's clients and/or verification information suppliers.
