We are looking for an enthusiastic, think out the box, junior automation engineer to join our team, someone with an interest in power system studies & designs, automation & energy management, electrical consulting, EPC and O&M projects, specialised testing & maintenance as well as grid code compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

Familiarize yourself with the company’s products and services

Understand client requirements and how they translate into our service offering

Travelling to site as and when required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project

Basics in Power System Modelling using ETAP/ DigSilent

Basics in AutoCAD

Use of Testing Equipment

Basics on Panel Wiring

RTU Configuration

Use of various software tools for design and analysis

Technical report development and writing

Development of manuals and procedure documents.

On-site inspections, installation, commissioning and testing.

Performing factory acceptance testing.

Performing electrical audits.

General administration and filing.

Ability to present on various topics (Public speaking)

Attending meetings and representing the company.

Reporting to Team leader/ Manager.

Assisting team members as and when needed.

The company may also call upon you to perform other legal tasks outside of your contract.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification Requirements : Electrical Engineering: National Diploma / BTech Electrical

Advantages

Experience with ABB, Siemens, Aveva and Schneider SCADA system

Familiarity of IEC 61850, IEC 104, DNP3 protocol

Experience with ETAP, DigSilent and AutoCAD

Other Requirements: Valid driver’s licence with the ability and willingness to drive as required by the role.
