The role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with financial and operational administration, coordinating communication between departments, and delivering efficient support to management. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the high standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to management and various hotel departments. Capture, maintain, and update company records and databases accurately. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documentation. Assist with stock control administration and inventory records. Process purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation. Maintain employee records, filing systems, and confidential documents. Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to emails professionally. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and diary management when required. Assist with guest-related administrative requests and internal correspondence. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Assist with payroll administration by collecting timesheets and relevant documentation. Monitor office supplies and arrange orders when required. Support the finance department with reconciliations and data capturing. Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of hotel, guest, and employee information. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management. Detail: Minimum Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is advantageous. Experience 1–2 years' administrative experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or tourism industry. Experience working in a luxury hotel or lodge environment will be advantageous. Experience with basic financial administration is beneficial. Knowledge General office administration practices. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Filing and document management systems. Basic financial administration and record keeping. Hospitality operations and guest service principles. Knowledge of hospitality management systems is advantageous. Skills Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Professional telephone etiquette. Excellent time management skills. Computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
