About role
We are looking for a Junior Administrator to join a dynamic financial services team. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately within tight deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain client files for new business and review processes.
- Ensure all client documentation is complete, accurate and compliant.
- Prepare files within the required 48-hour turnaround time.
- Maintain accurate registers, trackers and filing systems.
- Assist with quotations, comparisons and Medprac administration.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and requirements.
- Provide administrative support to Brokers, Compliance and Administration teams.
- Identify missing information, gaps or delays and escalate these promptly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Assist with reporting and general administrative duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years' administrative experience.
- Experience within financial services, insurance or investments will be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong reporting and administrative skills.
- Reliable, accountable and proactive approach to work.
- Knowledge of FAIS, FICA and POPIA will be advantageous.
