Start free — we apply for you →- Our client is looking for an energetic, and dynamic individual to join their team as a Junior Accountant. The successful candidate will work within the legal services, rental, and hospitality sectors and must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while working well under pressure.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English written and spoken.
- Computer literate.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- BCom degree or another relevant accounting qualification.
- Advantageous Software Knowledge
- Experience with the following software will be beneficial:
- Sage Payroll
- Sage Accounting
- GhostPractice
Beneficial Experience
- Previous experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
- Accounting up to trial balance.
- VAT calculations and VAT submissions to SARS.
- Payroll processing and submission of relevant payroll taxes to SARS.
- Preparation and submission of Workman's Compensation returns.
