This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment. Detail: Purpose of the Role To support the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, performing reconciliations, assisting with month-end reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: Processing supplier invoices and customer account transactions Reconciling supplier accounts, customer accounts and bank accounts Processing payments accurately and timeously Preparing and posting journal entries Assisting with month-end and year-end financial close processes Assisting with the preparation of management reports and financial statements Maintaining accurate accounting records and filing systems Assisting with VAT, tax and audit requirements Investigating and resolving account discrepancies Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required Criteria: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related qualification 2–3 years' accounting experience, preferably within the FMCG, retail or manufacturing sector Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work show more...
