The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance function, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with monthly accounting processes and reconciliations • Process journals and maintain the general ledger • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts • Process and assist with payroll administration • Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with company policies • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting activities • Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting duties Job Experience and Skills Required:
• BCom degree or NDip in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification • 1-2 years' relevant accounting experience • Payroll experience is essential • Hospitality, hotel, or events industry experience advantageous • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy • Strong communication and organisational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Eager to learn and grow within the finance field Apply now!
