- Matric certificate.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
- Computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A BCom degree or other accounting qualification will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll, Sage Accounting and GhostPractice will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting duties up to trial balance.
- Prepare VAT calculations and submit VAT returns to SARS.
- Process payroll and submit relevant statutory returns to SARS.
- Prepare and submit Workman's Compensation documentation.
- Provide accounting support across the legal services, rental and hospitality divisions.
Previous Experience (Advantageous)
• Experience in accounting up to trial balance. • Experience with VAT calculations and VAT submissions to SARS. • Experience with payroll processing and SARS submissions. • Experience preparing and submitting Workman's Compensation documentation.
