We are a small, growing mobile carpet and upholstery cleaning business looking for a reliable person to join us on a casual, as-needed basis.No previous carpet or upholstery cleaning experience is required — full training will be provided. Previous experience in cleaning, detailing, upholstery, carpet cleaning or other practical, hands-on work would be an advantage.The roleThe work involves cleaning carpets and upholstery at customers' homes and businesses, using professional cleaning equipment and our cleaning methods. The role also involves occasionally lifting and moving furniture, so applicants should be reasonably fit and comfortable doing this safely.You will need to be:Reliable and punctualHard-working and willing to learnComfortable working in customers' homes and dealing with customers respectfullyCareful with customers' property and able to follow instructionsReasonably fit and comfortable with some lifting and moving of furnitureA non-smokerIn possession of a smartphone and able to use WhatsApp and a job-booking appAvailability and how the work operatesThis is a casual, as-needed position. When jobs are available, you will receive job requests and can accept the jobs that suit your availability. There is no obligation to accept every job request.Most jobs are offered the day before, although same-day requests may occasionally come up.
