JOB 7 - Azure Security Specialist

Introduction

We are seeking experienced Azure Security Specialists to secure, monitor and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud environments. The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting cloud infrastructure, applications, identities and sensitive data while ensuring compliance with enterprise cybersecurity standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure environments.

Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.

Manage Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, MFA and Conditional Access policies.

Secure Azure networks using Azure Firewall, NSGs and Web Application Firewall.

Monitor security threats, investigate incidents and remediate vulnerabilities.

Manage Azure Key Vault, encryption and data protection controls.

Implement Azure security policies, governance and compliance requirements.

Conduct security assessments and improve cloud security posture.

Automate security processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI and Terraform.

Support ISO 27001, NIST and CIS security compliance standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Relevant IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity degree/diploma.

Minimum 5 years' IT infrastructure, cloud or cybersecurity experience.

At least 3 years' hands-on Microsoft Azure security experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel and Entra ID.

Experience with Azure networking, identity security and threat detection.

Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI and security automation.

Experience securing complex enterprise cloud environments.

Microsoft AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200 or SC-300 certifications advantageous.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical and incident response skills.
