We are seeking experienced Microservices Security Specialists to secure enterprise microservices architectures, APIs, containerised applications and cloud-native environments.
The successful candidates must have strong hands-on experience in microservices security, API protection, Kubernetes, DevSecOps and secure application architecture.

Duties & Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain security controls across microservices environments.
Secure RESTful APIs, API gateways and service-to-service communications.
Implement authentication and authorisation using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and mTLS.
Manage container and Kubernetes security, including access controls, network policies and vulnerability remediation.
Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and vulnerability testing.
Implement security controls across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud environments.
Monitor security threats, investigate incidents and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with OWASP, ISO 27001 and NIST security standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or Information Security.
Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in application security, DevSecOps or cloud-native security.
Important: General IT security or software development experience without practical microservices security expertise will not be sufficient.
Proven hands-on experience securing microservices architectures is essential.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes and API security.
Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect and TLS/mTLS.
Experience with SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning and CI/CD security.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10.
Experience with cloud security platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
Relevant certifications such as CKS, CKA, CCSP, CISSP, Security+ or cloud security certifications advantageous.

Market-related salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
