• Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications • Building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Collaborating with Product, QA, DevOps, and Software Engineering teams • Writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code • Participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making • Contributing to code reviews and engineering best practices • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and modern development practices These opportunities offer exposure to cloud technologies, Agile delivery environments, modern software development methodologies, and high-performance applications that serve both local and international markets.
Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP advantageous
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within collaborative development teams
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning
Qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
